How to Save Money on Your Phone Expenses
Skype and Ooma
If you have access to Internet service (at home or work), you can cut your phone costs down to nearly nothing.
There are two products/services that will accomplish this:
I personally use both services and quite happy with both.
Skype and Ooma
Skype has a 50% off deal right now. You get your own number that people
can call you on plus you get unlimited calls to the U.S. and Canada. All this for
only $57 for the first year. This is less than $5 a month.
If you don’t need your own number and just want to call out, the service is only $2.21 per month.
That’s right, less than the cost of a cup of coffee gets you phone service for the
month.
Skype currently offers a free month of unlimited minutes to make calls to
landlines in 63 countries and mobile phones in eight countries.
After your free month, you can choose a North America plan with unlimited minutes for $6.99ma month or a worldwide plan with unlimited minutes for $13.99 a month.
Ooma is a hardware device that connects to your internet service and provides both local and long distance service, the monthly cost is below $5 a month or $10 if you wish all the bells and whistles they provide.
In the case of Ooma you can keep your current phone number and port it to the service, it includes caller ID and a host of other features.
I suggest you check it out…..
